19th June, 2009 - "Berlin Semantic Web Day" at Freie Universität BerlinTopic of the Berlin Semantic Web Day is Semantic Business Process Management (SBPM) which is the combination of Corporate Semantic Web technologies, such as rules, events and ontologies, with BPM. This unique combination promises enhanced automation in discovery, configuration and composition of appropriate process components, information objects, and services, as well as automated mediation between different heterogeneous interfaces and abstraction levels, targeted complex queries on the process space and flow, and in general much more agile business process management.Click here for the program or to register. The public series of lectures on "Semantic Business Process Management" at the FU Berlin comprises three lectures on "standards at DIN e.V." by DIN e.V., "Semantic Business Process Management" by Semtation and "Rule-based and CEP-based Business Process Management" by Tibco. In the morning there will be the next public STI / CSW PhD Workshop, with a guest presentation by Dr. Boris Petkoff (AccordSystems) and in the evening, starting with keynote by Duane Nickull, Adobe Systems, the second Berlin Semantic Web Meetup will take place at the FU Berlin. In parallel to this public track there will be a special industry training about "Applications of Corporate Semantic Web in Industry" at the Campus Seminaris Hotel provided by the AG Corporate Semantic Web (CSW) and the Semantic Web Company (SWC). |
